Winter Solstice and Merry Christmas

On Friday, it was winter solstice and the darkest peak of the winter is behind us. Although I like this dark period very much, admittedly I was fairly tired at times last week.

Coincidentally, the sun was shining at last today after weeks of overcast weather. I headed out for a short ride to shoot some photos. The temperature was -14°C and it was beautiful.
